Aamir Khan’s New Film Sitaare Zameen Par to Release on June 20.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is back with Sitaare Zameen Par, a highly anticipated spiritual sequel to the 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par. Unveiled by Aamir Khan Productions, the film’s first look poster has taken the internet by storm. Directed by R.S. Prasanna and featuring Genelia Deshmukh as the female lead, Sitaare Zameen Par is set to release in theatres on June 20, 2025.
The film introduces 10 fresh debutant actors: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. Aamir Khan plays the role of a basketball coach, echoing the mentor-like presence he brought to his character in Taare Zameen Par. The tagline "Sabka Apna Apna Normal" hints at a heartwarming and inclusive storyline that celebrates individuality and emotional growth.
With music composed by the acclaimed trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and screenplay by Divy Nidhi Sharma, the film promises a soulful cinematic experience. Produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, the movie explores the emotional journeys of special individuals and their relationships with mentors.
