In New York City as jury selection is scheduled to begin in the sex trafficking trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs. NEW YORK CITY- In person questioning of prospective jurors begins in hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs trial in Manhattan federalcourt starting May 5 on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Jury slection is scheduled to begin in the morning and protentially take serveral days. Opening statements by the lawyers and the start of testimony is expected next week. The 17-page indictment against a Mafia leder ofr the head of a drug gang, accusing him of engaging in sex trafficking and presideing over a racketeering conspiracy.

He has been in jailed since September 2024, when he was ordered held without bail. He has pleaed not guilty and his final pre-trail hearing, recjeted a plea deal.
