With the word “illicitly”, Amboy student Parker Zimmerly recently won the Regional Spelling Bee, and in a few weeks, he will travel to Washington D.C. to compete in the National Spelling Bee! It begins on May 25 and Parker estimates it could take almost 100 hours of studying if he plans to win.
