In this video I go over my first AR-15 budget build. This is a cost-effective, entry-level AR-15 chambered in 5.56 NATO, using quality components from Palmetto State Armory. The foundation is the PSA BLEM Sabre-15 stripped lower receiver, combined with a Magpul MOE Lower Build Kit for enhanced ergonomics and reliability. The upper is a 16" mid-length 1:7 twist nitride barrel paired with a 13.5" M-LOK handguard, complete with a bolt carrier group (BCG) and charging handle—making it a complete upper ready to fire.
For accessories, I added a BCM Mod 3 M-LOK vertical grip for better control and a TruGlo 4x32 fixed optic, providing a straightforward and durable sighting option for mid-range shooting.
This build balances affordability, function, and modularity—perfect for range use, training, or as a general-purpose rifle.
