Property Rights & Digital Games | GOG vs Steam

I concentrate on buying physical games, but physical isn't always available. And I can't remember the last time I saw a physical game for PC. So what to do?

TL;DR: There are no great answers for digital games. Some people say it is too late for digital property rights. I disagree.
