Pets get stuck in oceanic platform base.

Crawling on the ground and getting under them helps. If still cannot pod mount them try to move around then try again to pod underneath beast while your character is prone.

The problem is more in the delay intentionally put on the cryopods. And they are designed to only pick up the animal if it's on the mesh not in the mesh. Granted you can still use pods to rescue animals that have been stuck in the mesh but it's chancy. There was a modder who made soulpods that instantly pod creatures but I noticed even it is subject to the beast being in connection to the world. Glitched animals have a chance not to pod.

It's not a big deal the ocean platform is well worth it. The very worse thing about an ocean platform is the chance you might accidentally pick it up or destroy it when you are playing Ark tired or low blood sugar. Which happened to me. I destroyed the platform closest to the land did not mean to was just tired and low blood sugar that day. Brain not there. I wish with platforms that have items on them you got a popup warning even after the dial wheel time delay that stopped you and said, "Are you sure?????" Only for platforms with constructions on them tho nothing else.
