Apatros Review Ep-0152: Back From Hell [1993] ("Demon Apocalypse")

AR-0152: Something of a long-gestating project for low budget horror filmmaker Matt Jaissle [the bloke behind that "Driller Killer" remake a few years back], this was shot over several years from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. A washed-up actor who had made a deal with the 😈 for stardom, now regrets his decision and has been cursed by 😈 so he now has to fight an army of beer-bellied Satanist ninjas along with his best friend, a Black priest.

With an array of odd factors spanning the inclusion of a Brazilian Weapons Consultant to a dedication to some bloke named Bim Diddle, this film is a pile of cheap junk, but it sure has its charms, especially if you're a masochist like I am...

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
