The Last Stand
"In 1901, Sultan Abdulhamid II faced a choice that would echo through history. The founder of the Zionist movement, Theodor Herzl, offered him a fortune—enough to lift the Ottoman Empire’s debts—in exchange for Palestine. But Abdulhamid refused, declaring that Palestine was not his to sell. He saw this land as sacred, a trust carried through generations, and knew its significance was beyond price.

Despite immense pressures, he chose dignity over convenience, faith over wealth. His words, 'I will not sell even a handful of soil from this land,’ remind us of the legacy he left—a legacy of resistance, honor, and an unbreakable bond to Al-Aqsa. May his story inspire us to guard what we hold dear.
