Day 4
Verse:
Genesis 46:3 "Fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation."
Reflection:
Sometimes God calls us into uncomfortable places, but His plans for growth and blessing are already waiting there.
Prayer:
"Father, give me courage to follow wherever You lead, trusting that Your purpose will unfold."
Confession:
"I will fear not, God’s plan for me is greater than my fear!"

"Don’t Let the Pain of the Past Blind You to the Providence of the Present"
Jacob had lived for years under the shadow of grief, thinking Joseph was dead. When his sons returned from Egypt with the impossible news that Joseph was alive and ruling, Jacob’s heart fainted. He simply couldn’t believe it, not at first. The weight of sorrow had dulled his hope. But when he saw the wagons, the physical evidence, his spirit revived.
Still, before moving forward into Egypt, Jacob stopped at Beersheba to worship. Even in his revived hope, he sought God’s confirmation. And God answered in the night: “Jacob, Jacob… fear not to go down into Egypt.” Why? Because God would go with him. And God would bring him up again. Egypt wasn’t the end of the promise, it was the foundation that would shape a nation.

Don't let long seasons of sorrow convince you that God is finished writing your story. Just because hope seemed dead doesn’t mean God wasn’t working in the shadows. And when hope revives, don’t rush ahead without seeking His voice. Worship before you move. Ask before you assume. Let God lead you into the hard places, not just the easy ones. Egypt was foreign, but God was faithful.
And when He tells you “Fear not”, believe Him. Because the very place that once symbolized bondage could become the birthplace of greatness.
