Day 15: [Red Alert]
Today was rough, or maybe I’m just worn thin. I dove to a deep rig, the pressure making my suit groan. A pipe burst while I was working, oil spilling out like a wound. I fixed it, but my hands were shaking, and not from the cold. The reefs nearby were lifeless, no fish, just coral bones. UniTrench’s mess is everywhere, and I’m the one keeping their rigs going. Scavenged enough to craft more oxygen sticks, but it felt like going through the motions. Moon took me to a cave, its walls glowing with strange light. For a moment, I forgot the job, just drifting there. Tim’s voice cut in, pulling me back. My head’s a mess, old memories rising up. The North Sea’s more than a backdrop now. It’s calling me out.
