Jesus is Our Sabbath

Jesus Said, "Come unto me and I will give you Shabat (rest)" The New Covenant in his Blood fulfilled the ritual requirements of the Mosaic Law and replaced them with a Covenant written on the human heart. Why was Jesus Crucified on Passover instead of on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement? Because he was not a temple sacrifice required by the Mosaic Law, but a Covenant sacrifice the replaced the Covenant with Israel.
