QNP Scoop: FQXHoleFoundation Delivers Water/Hygiene Supplies 7 Hours 1-way to Flood Victims in McLean County Kentucky

In April, the small river community of Calhoun-Rumsey in McLean County, Kentucky, was devastated by severe flooding along the Green River. With a population under 2,000, the town saw floodwaters crest over 35 feet above normal, submerging 60% of the county. Dozens of homes and structures near the river were inundated, with water reaching kitchen countertops in homes elevated 3-4 feet off the ground.

The FQXHoleFoundation, one of few non-local organizations providing aid, delivered relief supplies to the community. QNP covered these efforts and toured a private relief distribution facility, established just two days after the waters receded. Led by Sharon Walker, Chairwoman of the local Chamber of Commerce, the volunteer-run operation has provided critical supplies to dozens of families, all donated by Patriots and independent of local government. Walker’s team collaborates with local EMS and officials to target areas of greatest need, ensuring efficient aid delivery. Volunteers personally oversee the process, exemplifying community-driven patriotism.
