Hey everyone, Geoffrey here! I'm taking my daughter Benedetta somewhere truly special today – Gardens of Salonica in Northeast Minneapolis.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, and to me, it's the finest Greek restaurant in the Upper Midwest. This isn't your typical street fair stuff; owner Anna Christoforides focuses on traditional and modern dishes using organic, wild-caught, and local ingredients. From the incredible combo plate and flaming saganaki to the tender octopus and unforgettable lamb riblets, every dish tells a story.

Add the amazing artwork by Zoran and the warm welcome from Anna, and it feels like coming home. Sharing this place with Benedetta isn't just a meal; it's making a memory.
