First Fish of 2024! BIG (Personal Best) STEELHEAD!

Fishing the Lake Erie Tributaries of Western, NY and PA for migratory Steelhead in January of 2024 (the first weekend of the year). Overall it was a slow day, the small streams were low/clear and the mid-sized streams were off-color but improved in the afternoon. I landed my biggest steelhead ever (29.5 inches) and Ben landed a big steelhead as well!

It was a slow day considering I fished from 8am-6pm and only landed one fish. But I won't complain about my first fish of the year being a PB! Still yet to break the 30 inch mark on a steelhead.
