'For This They Willingly are Ignorant of' – 2 Peter 3:3–7

In this brief excerpt from the course, Creation, Science and Faith, Dr. Barber discusses how even "believers" today, in fulfillment of prophecy, reject God's revelation of His creation of the world, the global flood, as well as His future judgment.

In addition to rejecting God's revelation of the beginning and end of Time itself, most "believers" in these last days reject God's revelation of how He created, how He judged the whole earth with water in the days of Noah, and how the worst global judgment of all will soon take place:

"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened" (Matthew 24:21–22).

But Christians – members of the Fellowship of the Mystery – shall not go through that Tribulation at all, for "Jesus [has] delivered us from the wrath to come" (1 Thessalonians 1:10).

Are you submitting to the Holy Spirit speaking in and through the Scripture? Or are you quenching and resisting Jesus' Spirit?
