Why does no one talk about this Portuguese stew?! Today I’m making Carne à Jardineira—a humble, cozy beef stew that tastes like Sunday lunch at your avó’s house… but with a few cheeky twists.
We’re talking fall-apart tender beef, garden veggies, and a broth so good you’ll want to drink it. I snuck in a couple of unexpected ingredients (yes, even fish sauce!) to boost the flavor without messing with the soul of the dish.
This is the kind of stew that hugs you from the inside. Serve it with crusty bread, a glass of wine, and someone you like. Or don’t. More for you.
