Shining Force 2 playthrough part 11

This episode only features only one fight and 2 new recruits, but I had to repeat this stage over and over off camera since the unique boss of this stage provides just the right amount exp points to get some of my characters to level up until level 40.

Introducing Taya the Sorceress. She is set as a Sorcerer class, the newly added class in this game, by default.

Naturally, after promoting each character featured in this video, I proceeded to grind their levels to at least level 10 or above.

As you can see from the wall clock, it took longer than expected. The video may be less than an hour long, but in reality, the level grinding took almost 12 hours long. Obviously, I took breaks in between.

But it's worth it, the carried over stats from when they were level 40 before the promotion made them EVEN STRONGER.

Other characters will soon be promoted as well, as soon as they reach level 40. But for Sarah and Karna, their promotions will have to wait since I have a specific place to give their promotions at. Considering the place has the SECOND Vigor Ball that I never knew was there back when I played this game for the first time over 20 years ago.

Finally recruited Skreech. A Bird Baron class who is a slightly stronger variant of Luke's Bird Battler class, in which he will become once I get him to level 40 to negate his weak defenses if I promoted him too early at level 20.

Skreech was the ONLY character that I couldn't recruit back then since the method was very specific.
