My First Ride on my Brand New 2024 Honda Navi

So ... I've been tinkering around with electric bike builds for a bit, selling a few but I put my pennies together and back in early February, I picked up my first new motorcycle in many years. My last regular rider was a stock old 1948 Indian Chief. My last old car was a beloved 1939 Chevy Coupe rat rod. I sold that almost 10 years ago. I hadn't been riding motorcycles for quite some time. Riding electric bikes stirred me a bit but it wasn't until I picked up my new Honda XR150L a couple of months ago that it really got me. I simply love that bike and it's my first dual purpose street bike. I will ride it a bunch more as the weather gets better.

So why did I get this? I saw some reviews online and it sounded like a fun toy. I watched and took to heart that which the motorcycle review guys I follow said about the shortcomings of a 110cc 4 stroke automatic scooter motor on this bike. They really seemed to enjoy riding this little thing. I thought this would be a little companion small bore bike that could bring with my Honda XR150L for a riding buddy. I decided to bite the bullet and bike this bike the other day.

It's no speed demon but it's really is a blast to ride. I was surprised how much fun it was to just run around the corner or go wherever I wanted to go. The front forks are not great. The brakes are decent for being drums. Honda quality even on a budget price is predictable and I was satisfied. I definitely didn't need another new bike but I had the cash available with minimal effort and off I was to my friends at H.B. Honda again.

They are straight forward and friendly. We made the deal and I loaded it up. Got it home and then I had to take care of a few things and wasn't able to ride my little toy right away. I managed a short ride later than I had hoped but I still managed to go for a little ride. I slapped my DJI Osmo 2 camera on my handlebars and off I went. Today I got to show it to my pastor Dave and he hasn't ridden in years and I offered him to take it for a ride. He loved it and was really impressed! I have a few other friends that I trust and I suspect they will try it out soon.

This isn't an in depth review but just trying to tell a little story about what is behind this little movie. I do a better, in depth review of this little 2024 Honda Navi after a few hundred miles on it in the future. This little thing Rocks & Rolls!!! I love this little bike. I plan to keep this little Honda for a while. My neighbors love this thing! I try to keep them in mind as I test ride my other bikes in my tract. It will appear in some of the creative things I try to do here on this channel. I will take this place with me with the XR150L, Lord willing. I can only imagine the memories it might be part of in the future. I have to be willing to have dump it and have to fix it up again. I am willing to do that. happy to have this in the little motor pool with official Skunk Works stickers on it, 2 of them.

Stay tuned
