Ahh Yes,one of these types of Episodes to cater to the "Sports Fans",yep,No Magical Girl/Shoujo Anime is never complete without one of these types of Episode Tropes,yep,it's the Classic "School Sports Festival Day" Episode!

Cardcaptor Sakura back in the day was best known for having these types of episodes everywhere in her show.lol

And occationally,this happened with alot of 80's magical girl shows back in the day too (Prime examples included Magical Emi,Creamy Mami,Mahou Fairy PErsia")

and yes,Even Hai Step JUn had a School sports day episode,which I'll get to that one eventually,if that one ever gets subbed.lol

And this one is no different with this week's new episode of "You and IdoL" which Uta and the gang have a volleyball tournement! But the question is,will it be a Gym VollyBall-like Match like with "Attacker Yuu" (an 80's Anime gem) or a Beach Vollyball Match like in "Harukana Receive"?

And also.........yeah.......and there was also that subplot where that Wakaba girl is simping for that Shota guy she has a crush on and yeah......that went nowhere fast at the end of this episode.

Because ussially when you try to Shoehorn these Romcom Subplots into a sports theme episode,it usially always falls flat on its face like it did here! Romcom tropes and Sports don't always mix Well!

I mean yeah.....Shota Found Wakaba an awsome team player alright.......but yeah,he's not interested in simpinging for Rommance like that!.......So yep,despite Wakaba's Skills being an ace at Vollyball Spike Shots,she still got turned down anyway.......Go figure.

but oh well.lol

And what perfect timing for this episode to air too,because i've been replaying alot of the Kunio KUn/River City Sports games lately.lol
