Day 14: [The Storm]
Two weeks in, and the North Sea’s part of me now. I dove to a wreck today, its frame sinking into the seabed. Swam through its empty halls, picking up metal scraps and algae. The rigs are demanding, always needing fixes, and I’m finding more leaks, more proof of UniTrench’s damage. The reefs are quieter, some areas just dead gray patches. I’m starting to feel like I’m helping ruin this place. Tim’s briefings sound off, like he’s not telling me everything. Took Moon through a canyon, its walls looming like something sacred. It was beautiful, but it left me angry. Or maybe ashamed. My sleep’s rough, full of things I can’t name. The sea’s speaking to me, and I’m not sure I can ignore it much longer.
