Protect Your Mind From "Life Hack" Trends - MikeG's 20 Genius Hack's Review

I have an unhealthy distain for influencer/creator trends and marketing tactics.

I saw MikeG's, "Unlock These 20 Genius Meal Prep Hacks," video when he first released it and I couldn't help but think of the great fictional character Inigo Montoya, who once so eloquently said, "You keep saying that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." I've been wanting to make this ever since. Mostly for my opening scene!

Often times the first person who starts something that becomes a trend usually has great out-of-the-box thinking on top of good intentional, or unintentional, marketing choices, hence why it became a trend such as "life/cooking hacks." And like with all things in life, as time goes on things start to become a shell of what it once was, especially when creators run out of ideas so they do something easy and slap on a trend like a sticker and call it good, which is exactly what I believe MikeG did with this video of his by calling these methods/ideas, "Hacks."

I want to reiterate something I say in my video, I like MikeG and he has a wealth of knowledge that should not be passed up. However, no one is free from criticism, ESPECIALLY those with "influence," "authority," and/or, "power."
