Have you tried the Chicken Big Mac at McDonalds? I am team Big Mac all the way, but boy did this one let me down. I'm pretty sure they fried a chicken nugget, smashed it, and then cooked it again before putting it on my sandwich. I have been making beef Big Macs at home for years. I immediately knew I was going to make this sandwich, and it WAS going to be good!

You will need...
Sesame seed buns
cheddar cheese slices
iceberg lettuce, sliced
onion, finely chopped
dill pickle chips
1 pound ground chicken (this will make 3 generous sandwiches, you could make the patties thinner and stretch it to make 4)
1/4 plain breadcrumbs (this is optional, I use them to absorb some of the liquid from the ground chicken to help them hold together)
tsp garlic powder
tsp salt
tsp onion powder
I also used about a tsp of a spice mix that we like (turmeric, onion, paprika, black pepper, garlic).

For the Big Mac Sauce
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
tablespoon relish
garlic powder
onion powder
paprika
Mix all in a bowl and set aside.

For the chicken patties:
1. In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, 1/4 plain breadcrumbs, tsp garlic powder, tsp salt, & tsp onion powder.
2.Once combined, form into thin patties. Remember, you need two per sandwich.
3. I used my griddle to cook these, but you could also make them on the grill or in a pan on the stovetop. Flip halfway through and add cheese to half of the patties.
4. Assembly time! Don't forget the pickles, like me.
5. Enjoy!
