While visiting London, bumbling American detectives Abbott and Costello get entangled in a series of strange murders linked to the monstrous Mr. Hyde. Unbeknownst to them, the culprit is the respected Dr. Jekyll—played by Boris Karloff—who transforms into the beast using a secret formula.
