To be Judgemental? to be ok with everything,accept everything to be cool? This the right philosophy?

A friendly discussion on the subject / word, most young people seem to use to describe a behaviour and if it is good or bad to be judgemental and does it have only one meaning or can it also be a good thing too !
There is a difference between being overly critical about simple things and being able to make decision and have opinion abut what is or is not good for you.
