After Squid Game season 2's explosive finale, it seems like the competition could once again reach its conclusion in season 3, and while Gi-hun is desperate to put a stop to the games, he may still have one big advantage in the final round. Although Gi-hun returned to compete in the games once again, his intentions were much different this time around as he attempted to end these sadistic challenges. Having been constantly foiled, he managed to stage a rebellion during Squid Game season 2's ending, but despite his best efforts, the Front Man stayed one step ahead.

As a result, many of those who stepped up to fight alongside him were killed, while the survivors look like they will rejoin their fellow contestants and be forced to continue competing. Gi-hun adapted well to Squid Game season 2's new games, but he also had experience when it came to classics like Red Light, Green Light and Lights Out, which put him at an advantage. Luckily, if he makes it to the final round once again, there is only one logical game that makes sense, which is actually great news for the protagonist's chances of surviving.
