Windmill bowling for my 7th marathon.used 6-10lb polyester plastic Backup ball 29 games 04-30-25

Bowled 29.75 games My high game at Rivel & roll is a 198 now. I kept saying I was going to get a 200 but never did! if a person could strike more they will bowl a lot more games within 3 hours. I can bowl 11 games an hour with 2 lanes.
I did convert the 6-7-10 & it was a solid convert. I throw the ball harder when it hit the 6 pin it zoomed over & took out the 7 pin. I was kinda NOT happy I wasn't able to get a low game of a mirror 200 game!
I had an easy 200 game going well, up until the 10th frame then I got the 7-10 split that made me get a 198! 10th frame was an 8 count then the 10 pin for the 198 game! BOOOOO! BOOO! that made me vary unhappy! vary VARY UNhappy! I mean Anthony Simison UNhappy! almost any how. I did not start breaking the ball return like he use to do before he got what he wanted: to be worth over a million dollars heheheheHA! now hes worth over $2 MILLION!
Must look at like its NOT my last game & there will be MANY 200's maybe even a 300 here & there. need to keep positive for POSITIVE results. hey I DID convert the BIG 4 with a 10lb ball! that's something & never ALWAYS either!
Hence the reason I will be using 14lb spiral polyester plastic balls after a couple more marathons of 10lb str8 in balls. those 14lb spiral balls hooking in is how I got 23 str8 first balls of 9 or better on my first ball. if you get 9 on your first ball you can't get splits!! there will be just 1 pin somewhere on the deck. its call NO-TAP9 300 game if there all in the same 10 frames.
Remember a hook ball has a 4 times GREATER chance of striking because of the 6 degrees angle you can get with the hook ball over a dead nut str8 in ball with a maximum degrees angle of 1.5. you have about 4" of slop with the hook ball OVER a 1" dead NOT point blank end over end shot str8 ball.
here's how the 6 degrees angle to a 1.5 angle works out to be 4 TIMES GREATER: str8 ball 1.5 plus 1.5 plus 1.5 plus 1.5 = 6 degrees that's 4 times greater then the BEST thrown str8 ball.
With a str8 ball you need to throw it 4 times to = a 6 degree hook shot. this is why ALL pro bowlers throw the hook ball & NOT a str8 ball. with a str8 ball you must be within 1 inch of your strike zone. with a hook ball you can be withing 4" of your strike zone. both strike on the right & left with either hand bowlers. BUT the str8 ball is by far the BEST way to pick up most spares. the double wood & baby splits are easier with the hook ball. again with the str8 ball you need to hit the front pin dead nut for the pin or the ball to go 1 foot back to that sleeper pin. with the hook ball it's already going in at the angle & has time to go farther back to get the sleeper pin. its NOT a dead nut hit at all but a glancing ball at an angle. ALL bowling pins are set at 1 foot on center in ALL directions. double wood is NO different those 2 pins are 1 foot on center of the pins apart.
If you want to PROVE str8 ball ability have the pin setter set up double wood every time. remember double would can be in 3 places. #1 center pins 1-5, #2 right pins 3-9, #3 pins 2-8 left. I didn't realize they are all 1 pin row apart too so it may be more then a foot a part? but your ball can't fit between them so I would say its still about a foot apart on center of the 2 pins? but not sure on that one. I have never seen a hook ball go between the 2 pins & not knock one down. your ball is 8.5" in width that makes your ball 27" in circumference.
that is why wiping your ball off of oil CAN'T do any good what so ever. because on a 35' oil pattern: 12 inches = 1 foot. 12 inches X the 35 foot oil pattern = (the weed you smoke) or 420" divided by 27" the ball circumference = 15.55 times your ball has to roll with the 35' short oil pattern (not revving but just to roll 35') revving is more then 5 times that I would say.
How many flare lines do you see of oil on your ball? 4 or 5 maybe? that means a NON revving ball but just rolling say with 5 flare lines has 3 coats of oil per flare before it gets out of the short 35' oil pattern. so tell me again WHY does ANYONE wipe the oil off there ball???? it does ZERO good at all. its even WAY more then that if the ball is revving!
wiping oil off your ball does NOTHING for your bowling PERIOD! now wiping the lane oil off you hand does help. if you don't wipe that lane oil off your fingers & thumb it will slip around on your hand & really bad at release. this is why I wipe my hand on my pants = to get oil off my hand so I will have a good release, str8 or hook ball.
