Despised but Not Forsaken – A Psalm 119 Cry for Truth Psalm 119:140–144

This soul-honest melody takes us through Psalm 119:140–144, where the psalmist confesses his smallness and rejection by the world—but clings to Yahuah’s Word, which has been tried and proven. This is a song for the outcast, the misunderstood, the faithful remnant who have chosen obedience over applause. The world may hate the truth, but Yahuah’s Torah is forever.
Who hates you?
It’s not just “the world”—it’s those aligned with the father of lies. Yahusha told them plainly in John 8:44: “You are of your father the devil…” These are the ones who twist the Word, suppress the Name, mock obedience, and persecute the righteous. And some even come in religious clothing.
But you are not alone. You are not forgotten. Yahuah has numbered the hairs on your head. He watches over you day and night. And like any good Father, He might let you get in a fight—but He’ll never let it get out of hand. When you walk in His ways, you are covered, even in affliction.
The Word is tried.
Obedience is forever.
Truth will not decay.
And the righteous—though small and despised—will live.
