This dude can see around the curve from his balcony!! 👀

The gentleman recording this short video was likely using a Nikon P1000 which has a 125x optical zoom.
No doubt the distance to that cargo ship exceeds well over 20 miles. Assuming the balcony is a third story balcony, the camera would be approximately 30 feet above the ground. Add another 30 feet to the actual height above the water (60'), that ship should be hidden below more than 82' of Earth's curvature, "IF" the Earth was a Ball.
