After using this ceramic pour-over coffee maker for the past three years, I wanted to share how I brew a great cup of coffee with it and why I’ve stuck with it.

Originally, I bought this coffee maker for my wife. I wasn’t drinking coffee at the time, but I liked the reviews and the fact that it was made of ceramic instead of plastic. That mattered to me because when you’re using boiling water, it just feels better knowing it’s not coming in contact with plastic.

My wife found it a little awkward to use, but once I started drinking coffee and gave it a try myself, I found it really easy to use. And more importantly, I love the taste of the coffee it makes.

If there’s a downside, it would be that you have to slowly pour the hot water over the coffee grounds and wait for it to drip through. And if you’re making a big batch, the coffee might cool down faster than with a traditional drip coffee maker. But for me, when I brew up to a quart at a time, the coffee stays hot long enough and tastes great.

If you're someone who values simplicity, a clean-tasting brew, and avoiding plastic in your brewing process, this might be the right coffee maker for you.

I hope this honest review helps you figure out if the Segarty Pour Over Coffee Maker is worth trying.
