The Red Cross is warning the humanitarian response in Gaza is on the verge of total collapse.
It's two months since Israel imposed its longest blockade on the strip, preventing food, water and medicine from reaching Palestinians in need.
Children have suffered the most, with at least 23 reported to have died from malnutrition and dehydration in recent weeks.

Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports from Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, one of the few remaining facilities that provides food supplements.

Under both Biden and Trump, US-backed Israeli assaults have killed thousands in Gaza—with Trump’s post-ceasefire escalation intensifying what rights groups call genocide. Analysts at Doha’s Global Security Forum attribute unwavering US support to domestic politics: courting Jewish-American and evangelical votes. Netanyahu exploits this, empowering far-right racists to pursue what historian Ilan Pappé terms a Zionist “empire-building” project, completing the 1948 ethnic cleansing. While the US poses as a peace broker, its bipartisan allegiance to Israel renders Palestinian lives collateral—whether under Republican or Democratic rule. For Gaza’s besieged, the White House’s occupant changes nothing when bombs rain hourly. As Pappé warns, this isn’t just about Palestine, but a regional imperial gambit with global repercussions.

Al Jazeera’s Imran Khan reports.

Qatar’s ambassador to the Netherlands, Mutlaq al-Qahtani, told the ICJ that Israel is waging a "genocidal war" in Palestine, intensifying West Bank settlements and blocking life-saving aid, leaving Gaza in famine-like conditions. He accused Israel of weaponizing aid, targeting humanitarian workers, and dismantling UNRWA, the backbone of Gaza’s aid. On 2 March, Israel severed all food, water, and aid access, imposing collective punishment and destroying "an entire generation" of Palestinians.

Al Jazeera’s Rory Challands reported that al-Qahtani’s emotional speech highlighted Israel’s creation of a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and its unlawful campaign against UNRWA. Challands stressed that Israel’s obstruction of aid violates international law, using it as "a weapon of war and tool of extortion.
