Is everything magnetism?

Magnetism is a physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charges, resulting in attractive or repulsive forces between objects. It is one of the fundamental forces of nature and is closely related to electricity, together forming electromagnetism. Magnetic fields are created by moving electric charges, such as electrons, and are strongest near magnetic materials like iron, cobalt, and nickel. Magnets have two poles—north and south—and opposite poles attract while like poles repel. Earth itself acts like a giant magnet due to the movement of molten iron in its core, which generates its magnetic field.
