What happened to Henry Ford's dream 'Hemp Car'?

The car's bodywork was made from an artificial composite based on hemp fibres, soybeans, straw and sisal.

But the American car industry collapsed due to the Second World War, and unfortunately, Ford's dream car never went into mass production.

Never too late to pick up from where Ford left off. Australia would love to be involved after decades of being raped, pillaged and reduced to zip car manufacturing and just about everything else.

Bye bye Club of Rome and weak Australian political doormats.
