Max Blumenthal is an American journalist, author, and filmmaker known for his critical reporting on U.S. foreign policy and the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. Born on December 18, 1977, in Boston, Massachusetts, he is the son of journalist Sidney Blumenthal, who served as an aide to President Bill Clinton.

Blumenthal has written for publications such as The Nation, The Daily Beast, Al Jazeera English, The New York Times, and The Los Angeles Times. He is the founder and editor of The Grayzone, a news website known for its investigative journalism and uncompromising critique of U.S. foreign interventions and imperial narratives.
