5 French Cleat Tool Holders part 2. Most Simple Tool Holder Ever!!!

I have so many ideas for French cleat tools holds. Part 1 and Part 2 are only the tip of the iceberg for all of my tool holder ideas.

This is Part 2 (Deux) of my 5 French Cleat Tool Holders build. I showcase literally the most simple tool holder ever. I was impressed with how easy and basic it truly is. You can take the same idea and apply it to many other applications of French cleat tool holders. You can even use it for so many other applications. I'm talking about Velcro! Actually, Velcro is best described as hook and loop technology. Just put in on your favorite tool and hang it anywhere. How about on the handle of your hammer? Not a bad idea huh? Typing this just makes me come up with even more ideas of what I can do with Velcro.

But for me, I needed a place to store my router bits and forstner bits. I use them often and I thought that instead of removing them from their case, I would just attach some hook and loop to the cases and call it a day. Actually, my daughter Tea helped me come up with the idea, and if you watch the video you will see her teach me how to so it. She is the arts and craft specialist of the house and I love going to her for her tips and tricks.

Originally I intended for this to be just one video but there was just too much good stuff to condense it into one bit size video. So this ended up being a 2 part series. I'm sure I will do more of the multi part series in the future. So you can look forward to that!

Speed Squares! They take up a lot of room if you hand them flat against the cleat wall, but they take up much less space if you hang them sticking out from the wall. I made a very simple speed square holder for my tool wall that I know you will want to build yourself.

I not only show you the most simple tool holder ever but I also show what I can do with my featherboards. I have 4 of them that I use for my table saw and router table. There really isn't a convenient place to store them.....until now! I made a very handy French cleat tool holder for feather boards as well. There are no limits on what you can do with French cleats.

You may notice a little but a magic in this video. My son Jonas was very helpful with the camera tricks and if you watch until the end you will see some of his shenanigan's. I put those in for entertainment purposes.
