The move comes just weeks after Trump publicly defended Waltz during the Signal messaging controversy. Jim questions why this shake-up is happening so early in the term and expresses concern over who might replace Waltz.

After this recording, Trump announced Waltz is being nominated as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as interim National Security Adviser.
