We take a follow up look at Elmi's journey from sleeping rough in London to producing documentaries, which shows his tenacity and passion for storytelling. He embarked on a project with DW, a globally renowned production company, to create documentaries in Africa, aiming to highlight untold stories and combat stereotypes.

Elmi travelled to multiple African countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, to capture diverse narratives and experiences. Through his travels, he encountered various challenges and inspiring individuals, such as young boys with fake passports seeking hope elsewhere and filmmakers promoting creativity in Rwanda.

Elmi's mission is not only to tell stories but also to challenge misconceptions about Africa and promote positive narratives, inviting others to join him in changing the discourse.
