On May Day, tens of thousands rallied across nearly 1,000 U.S. cities to demand workers’ and immigrants’ rights and protest Donald Trump’s administration.

Supported by hundreds of groups, the protests follow two major April demonstrations and highlight growing resistance to Trump’s policies, including mass deportations and anti-union actions.

In cities like L.A. and New York, participants voiced solidarity with immigrants and called for fair labor conditions.

Speakers in Washington, D.C., condemned unjust deportations and honored immigrant workers, including those killed in the Baltimore bridge collapse, The Guardian has reported.

Organizers stressed unity and vowed to keep resisting authoritarianism.
