Tripping on Travel: August 2019, REMASTER, Air Line Trail, CT

I formatted the remaster and edit of this footage much like I did my prior video. But because human dialogue, not nature, originally dominated the soundscape of the footage, I edited all that out and replaced it with background music. This portion of the Air Line State Park Trail Connecticut residents know so well, was actually the site of an old railroad originally. The rails and all that were removed long ago, leaving a bit of a trail through the ledge and surface rocks left in the area. Decades later, the old site of that railroad was repurposed and reconditioned to accommodate a sewer pipeline from Pomfret, CT to the water Treatment Plant in Putnam. After that was finished, the Air Line Trail was expanded and developed over the pipeline laid beneath the ground. On August 29, 2019 I took my camera down a portion of the trail to explore it. This was before it was redeveloped into a public access trail for pedestrians and bicycles. I saw mostly remnants left behind by humans before the pipeline was laid and the trail was developed. Including a steel plate that appeared to have been used for firearm target practice. But by the end of that footage, I came upon paw tracks left behind by an animal. It was a nice reminder that nature, not humans, will continue to dominate the landscape. Although I must admit, I have my doubts.
