US Economy Shrinks For The First Time In 3 Years: Trump Tariffs To Blame?

According to a report by the Commerce Department, the US economy shrank by 0.3% in the first quarter. This is the first time the US economy has contracted in three years. Experts say a massive import surge driven by Trump tariffs is likely to blame.
Trump pushed back on the assertion and blamed Joe Biden for the economic contraction.
He did, however, take credit for the surge in business investment during the first quarter.
