Gord: In the US, things are simple. They basically have a two-party system and you're either a Republican or a Democrat. It's a simple choice, and more like a yes or no referendum. Here, we have dozens of different parties which causes no end of vote splitting. There are currently other parties I would rather vote for, but can they win an election outright? The answer for me, is no, they can't. Voting would be so simple if we only had to choose between two parties, but that isn't the case. Reform is the only party right now, that's close to me politically and can form a government on their own. As Katie says in her YT video, it's about the direction of travel. The first priority must be to get rid of this Labour government, because we most certainly don't want to carry on in that direction. People must get out and vote in the local elections, they are more important than ever right now. Local councils must be able to push back on Government policies they disagree with, and Labour run councils are less likely to do that. The fight has to start from the bottom.
We certainly do get it...but the way he's appeared to unnecessarily turn on and attack people on the same side has turned off quite a few people and leaves a bad taste in one's mouth
