Geralt took on a contract from a desperate group of refugees, vowing to track down their missing companions. His investigation led to a grim discovery: the caravan had been ambushed by none other than a royal wyvern. Though the beast proved deadly, Geralt’s blades proved deadlier.

Continuing his journey through the heart of Velen, Geralt visited the village of Lindenvale, where an elderly woman begged for his help reclaiming her ancestral home now overrun by a monster. In exchange, she offered him the key to her family’s hidden fortune. Inside the manor, however, Geralt uncovered a chilling secret: the body of her brother, Humbert, bricked into the walls, a victim of betrayal by her first husband. Geralt delivered the painful truth, but with it, freed the woman to reclaim her home at last.

Before leaving Lindenvale, Geralt also answered a call from the village gravedigger: children were disappearing near the cemetery, snatched by unseen horrors. Geralt uncovered the culprit a terrifying grave hag, and dispatched the monster, collecting his reward and restoring peace to the fearful village.

Another day’s work for a witcher: beasts slain, secrets unearthed, and the weight of other people’s tragedies carried forward.
