Nesting Time!

Lots of Hen politics this morning while trying to lay an egg. Trunks, the fluffy lavender grey hen, is being a bit of a bully. She has a history of being broody around this time. So, she will need to be watch closely so she doesn't dehydrate or starve to death. Quite amazing what a hen will do when she thinks that she will be having her babies. FYI....I don't have a rooster.

Broody - A broody hen is one that is instinctively inclined to sit on eggs to hatch them, often becoming protective and refusing to leave the nest. This behavior can lead to health issues if not managed, as the hen may stop laying eggs and neglect her own well-being.
