AVOID "SECULAR" ORGANIZATIONS?

Dear Pastor Bob: I have a question about secular organizations such as the Lion's Club. I've considered becoming a member of one because they do a lot of good things for the community. Some Christians say that we should stick to strictly Christian organizations because the secular ones sometimes support things that Christians shouldn't. But on the other hand, they are involved in a lot of the things Christ wants us to be doing, such as feeding the hungry and helping the homeless. What are your thoughts on this? Should we steer clear or should we take every opportunity we can to help the needy?
