It’s been 100 days since United States President Donald Trump began his second term, and it’s been anything but quiet.

The U.S. economy contracted in the first quarter, weighed down by a deluge of goods imported by businesses eager to avoid higher costs, underscoring the disruptive nature of President Trump’s often chaotic tariff policy.

On Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent was asked about his thoughts on an allegedly upcoming Amazon feature that will highlight surcharges caused by tariffs on listings of impacted products. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called the purported initiative a “hostile and political act.”
