Cinnamon Swirl 🍌 Bread

Guess what!? I do measure when baking! You’re welcome 😆

We try to do at least one "cooking project" a week as part of our homeschool curriculum. It is typically more, but this was one we did recently. The kids really enjoy mashing and mixing!

Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

Ingredients:
3 cups flour
2 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
6 overripe bananas (I only had 5 here)
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

Cinnamon sugar:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Mix in a bowl, set aside.

This recipe will make 2 loaves. 🙂

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°

1. Peel & mash bananas.
2. Add vanilla, butter, eggs, sugar and mix well.
3. Slowly add in the dry ingredients (flour, protein powder, baking soda, salt)
4. Spray two bread pans with non stick spray. Add banana bread mixture evenly to each pan (about halfway full).
5. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the dough.
6. Add rest of the banana bread mixture to each pan and smoothen out.
7. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar.
8. Bake at 350° for about 40 minutes.
9. Enjoy!
