1 dead after shooting near Red lake apartments in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon on the city’s Southside, marking the second deadly shooting in less than 24 hours.

Officers responded to the scene on the 2100 block of South Cedar Avenue, near the Red Lake apartment complex adjacent to the Minneapolis American Indian Center, where one person was found dead.
