Woman Caught Driving Drunk But Officer Sends Her Home

On 5/19/24 and officer with the fort dodge police department performed a traffic stop on a vehicle after they failed to come to a complete stop and had a license plate light that was not working properly.

Never have we seen a suspect sent home after blowing twice the legal limit. The court date was pushed to 8/16/24 from 5/19/24 where the suspect pled guilty to Driving under the influence 1st offence. We heard the officer saying her previous Driving under the influence was Deferred so this will technically be her first offence.
