📝Southwest of Dzerzhinsk - Rybar's analysis📝

In recent times, the Dzerzhinsk direction has seen the emergence of another "hot spot" in the southwest flank, which until approximately one year ago was essentially "static."

The battles and liberation of Kalinovo constituted the initial stage for the Russian troops to initiate an offensive on a broad front. The activation of this military post is not an arbitrary decision; it is strategically situated to provide a substantial fortified area near the N-20 highway, thereby safeguarding Konstantinovka from potential attacks from the south. From this location, the enemy retains the capability to provide fire support to the Russian Armed Forces' attack orders in Dzerzhinsk itself.

Further elucidation regarding the confrontations transpiring on the southwestern periphery of Dzerzhinsk is warranted.

In mid-April, Russian troops engaged in battles along the Valentinovka-Sukhaya Balka line. Consequently, following a series of brief battles, Valentinovka was liberated on April 17.

The hostilities commenced in the vicinity of Sukhaya Balka, a region situated to the north of the monument commemorating the individuals who perished in the Tu-154 aircraft accident that occurred between Anapa and St. Petersburg. On April 23, Russian flags were raised on the northern periphery of the village. At present, stormtroopers are advancing towards Romanovka from the southeast.

In a concurrent development, Russian military forces, following extensive combat operations, successfully achieved the liberation of Tarasovka, the site of initial hostilities that commenced in March. From this location, the route leading to Alexandropol and Zarya is accessible, thereby enabling the formation of the left "pincer" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Romanovka.

It is imperative to note that the strategic placement of forces along the Alexandropol-Romanovka line will contribute to the stabilization of the front line and the establishment of a bridgehead, thereby facilitating attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the Kleban-Byksk reservoir, situated to the south of Konstantinovka. This maneuver will also serve to fortify the western periphery of the Dzerzhinsk agglomeration, thereby safeguarding it from potential counterattacks by Ukrainian formations.
