Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich is a real-time tactical role-playing game developed and published by Irrational Games. It is the sequel to the critically acclaimed game Freedom Force from 2002. In this game, players guide a team of superheroes as they travel back in time to help overthrow Nazi Germany and its allies during World War II. The game features dynamic storytelling, fast-paced tactical role-play, and larger-than-life characters inspired by classic superhero comics.

The plot begins when the supervillain Nuclear Winter steals the inert body of Time Master and uses it to steal nuclear missiles from the Cuban Missile Crisis, aiming to start a nuclear war between the United States and the USSR. Although the Freedom Force foils his plot, the timeline changes upon their return, and they find that the Axis powers have achieved victory in World War II. Using the disturbance in the timeline to guide them, the heroes must navigate through a series of missions set in a 3D, destructible environment to restore the original timeline and save the world.
