The Handheld Aavega Pneumatic Line Thrower (HALT) is a portable apparatus to uses a launched projectile with 3 MM high tenacity rope for a range of 90 meters to 100 meters. The HALT is an Air-Driven Multi-Purpose Line Thrower. Once air is charged with 200 Bar pressure, it can fire six projectiles. Different projectiles can be chosen for various purposes.

All models are based on the same base unit, and the launching tubes are interchangeable.

This line thrower most often used in maritime rescue missions, pulls a thin line with a diameter of only 3 mm, creating a large parabolic arc in the air before landing directly near the distressed boat or people. The throw distance is at least 100 meters, and don't underestimate the thin line— because it's a specially designed rope that can withstand a dragging force of 200 kg. You can launch six projectiles in quick succession. You can shoot various projectiles as required with this equipment.

This is a powerful and portable Pneumatic Line Thrower, which is suitable for quick action deployment of rope for swift water rescue.

Technical specification of AAVEGA LINE THROWER:
1. The apparatus is working on compressed air of pressure maximum of 200 Bar air. Once change 0.8 L capacity cylinder for 200 Bar, it can fire 5 projectiles. (Same or variable projectiles). The apparatus has an air cylinder of 0.8 L capacity.
2. A yoke adaptor is use for refilling to 200 bars (2900 psi). The standard Fitting is available with a kit.
3. The charging of air cylinder by using The BA (Breading Air) Compressor or AAVEGA Comp 300 B - Tinny Compressor (light duty).
4. The maximum range of a projectile is 125 meter in water, land or ice with 3 mm diameter rope.
5. With various projectiles and particular use, the ranges of projectiles are from 100 meters, 70 meters, horizontally. and the minimum range of grapnels hook and rope for vertical range with 5 mm rope is 70 meters.
6. The Launching Unit can launch all 3 projectiles with their specific Launching Tubes in one-time charging of air cylinder (5 times fire)
7. All projectiles are reusable/ rechargeable.
11. In connection to water application connecting line/ rope are made from Dyneema material and floated on the surface of the water for better retrieving application.
12. The line/ rope are specially designed for rescue application having maximum breaking strength and having the ability to reuse again and again. Ropes/ lines come with DYNEEMA messenger line of 3 mm diameter and 6 mm diameter and the total length of 150 meters and 110 meters respectively, which allows for long range horizontal deployment distances of maximum 125 meters to min 80 meters. This line can be used to tow larger, stronger ropes across a body of water or from shore to shore. Minimum breaking load for Dyneema line is 250 Kg and 1500 Kg. respectively for 3 mm and 6 mm rope.
13. The operator can use suitable rope (diameter) for particular use with the above apparatus. The line/ropes are available from 2mm diameter, 3 mm diameter, 6 mm diameter, 8 mm diameter etc.
14. Inbuilt safety feature. The apparatus has a safety knob. For firing the projectile, initially knob (Thumb) to be press and then trigger (index finger) for safe operation.
15. The line thrower is fire from shoulder of operator. So, the total recoil of apparatus act on body of operator.
16. The line container is connected / disconnected with apparatus or can be isolated from apparatus.
17. The apparatus has a pressure gauge for safely charging of air and also indicate the consumption of air/ and qty. of balance
air in the cylinder. The size of the pressure gauge is 20 mm in diameter.
18. The various Projectiles shall be made either from ABS Plastic, 6061- T6 Al, Polymer, Titanium or combine of all.
19. Carry Bag/ Storage Box for Storage of Line Throwing Apparatus.
The rugged fabric carry bag is designed for durability and convenience. The bag is featuring six external and one internal zippered storage pockets reinforced water resistant vinyl bottom or stowage box: waterproof, dustproof, size: interior (L×W×D) 111.8 x 35.6 x 21.6 cm or suitable to store the goods.
